Please see above photo of my hand slightly moving the black ring clockwise. This item weighs 80 lbs and is considered oversized so that why shipping costly. Sony PVM-1380 monitor not included but available for sale. Therefore, this item is sold as-is.

Video and audio playback looks great. With a little TLC, this can be real workhorse. The only issue we noticed is there a tape threading when the loads. Please be mindful that Sony manufactured this item sometime around 1990, so its probably near 30 years old.

Once it locks into place then works fine. The black ring has to be manually nudged clockwise thread. Other than this issue, item is a beast.
